Sales Manager

Johannesburg       Full-Time       Negotiable Salary

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Sales Manager to help drive our global product sales

Sales Delivery

  • Delivering against set lead generation and conversion targets. Delivering against set sales and profits targets.
  • Co-creating and implementing commercially viable sales strategies across the various sales channels that ensure sustainable year-on-year growth.
  • Pursuing new business opportunities through by following on warm leads and industry networking.
  • Developing and maintaining a constant pipeline of new business prospects
  • Researching and pursuing new markets and partners for direct sales. Forming a deep understanding of each client’s business to allow you to take a successful lead during sales conversations and product presentations
  • Co-ordinating and facilitating pre-sales meetings, presentations, demonstrations and any other presales activity in conjunction with the pre-sales technical consultant(s)
  • Applying an influential style of written and verbal communication to all clients and partners during your presentations and demonstrations
  • Investigating and resolving any client concerns or objections in a pragmatic manner, using relevant product features and benefits to draw a solution
  • Constantly improving and building on your knowledge of market trends to understand how economical conditions and competitors impact and influence client decision-making
  • Attending and facilitating exhibitions and trade shows to promote our product suite
  • Providing regular feedback to the Managing Director on sales activity and prospective clients

Client Delivery

  • Building profitable client relationships that engender trust and sustainability.
  • Encouraging client and partner feedback to influence marketing and product development strategies. Identifying each client’s critical needs and budgets and providing solutions by introducing the most suitable product options.
  • Liaising with the technical team to build your product knowledge to ensure you are able to confidently impart sound knowledge and advice onto prospective clients and partners.
  • Adapting your sales approach to different International markets to ensure we appeal to a wide range of stakeholders and businesses.

Sales Administration

  • Properly qualifying sales opportunities, ensuring a return on time invested. Improving and implementing effective sales processes
  • Maintaining and accurately updating the CRM
  • Reporting sales activity. Producing highly detailed sales planning/sales status reports
  • Participating in the development of marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven SaaS / Enterprise Sales Experience
  • Bachelors Degree or above in Business Management or Information Technlogy related subjects
  • Superior communication skills
  • High energy, pro-active with an ability to think fast and innovatively
